Barbers & Coffee

Was staying with my brother and needed a haircut, this came up when I googled barbers nearby and I thought it looked interesting so decided to go here. You book online on their website and pay in advance, then just turn up at the time you booked. There is a separate room off the cafe bit for the haircuts which is good. The haircut was really decent, showed them a picture of how I had it done before and asked them to do the same which was done really well. Didn't try the coffee but that's just because I only wanted a haircut.

Popped in yesterday on the off chance that they had time to cut my son's hair on very short notice. He had never been to a barbers before and was excited to get his hair cut by someone who wasn't his mum. We were seen to very quickly, 2 lovely ladies were working that day. I sat and enjoyed a coffee whilst my son got his brand new hair cut. He is one very happy little boy and thinks his new hair cut is very cool and couldn't wait to show it off to his best friend. I was also given some advice on how to style it going forward which was a god send. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much ladies.

Great idea as my wife sits and has a coffee while I get my hair cut (she said the coffee is really nice too) Megan is always friendly and cuts my hair really well. Would definitely recommend, plenty of parking also

My son has had a couple of haircuts here and both times service has been great. Very friendly welcome and a nice atmosphere. I had a nice coffee and a lovely croissant while sitting listening to some music. Made for a nice experience. Haircut looks great and my son looks super handsome! Keep up the good work

First haircut here yesterday and I will definitely be returning. I was greeted by the lady working in the coffee shop and Stacey was very friendly. Asked if I would like my coffee before or after my haircut which was thoughtful. The flat white what also very nice. But most importantly one of the best haircuts I’ve had in a long time! Highly recommend!

It was my first visit today for a haircut for both of my boys. Stacey was fantastic and listened to exactly what they both wanted. They both came out with probably the best hair cut they’ve ever had and it was what they were hoping it would be! It is such a great little shop, cafe in one part and barbershop in a separate part but so I could still see my boys. I had a coffee which was excellent. Great atmosphere, just a lovely place. Now that we’ve found it I won’t be taking my boys anywhere else! Many thanks Stacey and the lovely lady who made my coffee

Firstly let's address the two elements to this business - Barber - OK so Megan worked on me today and the end results passed the "Mrs test" and my wife approved. Home run there. I think it is always difficult to run a business like this off the High Street. On the High Street, especially Wellingborough, there are dozens of barbers and hairdressers all vying for business and that creates business. Barbers and Coffee are hidden in a quieter estate a few miles from the High Street so they will rely on reviews like this to generate business and word-of-mouth to survive. So, at the business end of this review, Megan cut my hair and trimmed my beard so I look more businessman than hobo so job done. Home Run. So to the Coffee part of the experience. I LOVE coffee but you don't usually get coffee at the barbershop. If you do it is usually instant and powdered milk (sorry Uncle Bernie!). So, to have the experience in a coffee shop with real proper coffee was an experience itself. Whilst the hair-bit was off to the side, the cafe ambience and the coffee itself was good. I think that as the business grows, so will the additional coffee shop. Mums dropping their kids off for a trim alongside the retirees set having a natter and a trim, will see this grow and for the record, the coffee was good. So lots of home runs here. Parking is easy - it's in a quieter part of town with small Tesco Express and a couple of other local shops. Cost was also competitive and all round - a nice experience. I really hope they succeed

Stacey always cuts Freddie’s (age 9) hair beautifully, has fabulous patience & is great with kids. The coffee is mum’s favourite! The location is super convenient for us. We recommend barber & coffee to everyone! 5 stars!
